Detail-oriented in life and in photography, I have learned not just to look but to see. My travel and food photography is about finding the gems, often hiding in plain view, that are overlooked by most travelers. Learnnig the history of the place, the culture, and the food of the people, as well as insight into their lives, strengthens the kind of images I want to capture - not of a place but about a place. I bring that awareness home for others to experience. I am eager for others to see the world the way I see it. No one has complained yet.
