Lily Greenberg
ACOR Board Member
2026 Incoming Board President

I serve on ACOR’s board because I believe in its mission to uplift and sustain Rockland’s artists. I first got involved with ACOR when they awarded me an Artist Support Fund in 2023 to cover poetry manuscript submission fees. I then worked with ACOR to reinstate the Rockland County Poet Laureate Program, as well as lead grant-writing workshops in the Professional Development series and the ACOR Mentorship Program.

Speaking as someone on both the receiving end of ACOR's resources as well as from the inside, I’ve seen the real impact of ACOR’s commitment to creative growth. It’s an honor to help guide an organization that delivers such vital support.

This year, we’ve seen how creativity connects Rockland - through art festivals that brighten our public spaces, concerts that bring neighbors together, and after-school programs where art inspires the next generation.  Every one of these moments is possible because of people like you. Your support helps ACOR fund programs, empower artists, and make sure the arts remain part of everyday life in Rockland County.

As the year comes to a close, we’re asking for your help to keep creativity flowing, and make sure the arts continue to connect, inspire, and strengthen our community.  Your gift today helps ensure that Rockland stays vibrant, creative, and connected for everyone.

From October 1st - December 31st, the Hidden Treasure Gallery at The Palisades Center will feature the stunning work of Hope Wade Designs. Known for blending elegance with heritage, Wade’s creations transform rich colors, flowing fabrics, and bold silhouettes into wearable art that celebrates both identity and artistry.

The Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) is thrilled to have the vibrant creativity of Peter Cheney, Maria Lord, and SoYeon Yang in our latest exhibit at the ACOR Hidden Treasure Gallery, nestled in the Rockland County Courthouse, running now through January 31, 2026.
