Kenneth Burns
As a young man, Kenneth Burns was influenced by Bob Dylan’s music and Sandy Koufax's pitching. Each of them stirred the depth of creativity and sparked the flow of movement that would appear later on in his art. Once retired, he discovered the joy of painting while using pastels, colored pencils, watercolor and acrylics. He is a member of the Nyack Art Collective. He has displayed his work at the Richard Boyd Gallery in Maine, The Arts Student League (vyliacil campus)and the Edward Hopper House in Nyack, NY. Creativity, although dormant for a long time, is now his main focused and drive. By experimenting with photography and various forms of painting technique, Kenneth Burns has found his voice.
