The Arts Council of Rockland (ACOR) established the Artists’ Support Fund to support individual Rockland County artists in sustaining their creative practice and/or developing new works of art. Grants are disbursed annually to artists selected through a review process.  The 2025 Artists’ Support Fund grant application is now open, and the submission deadline is March 1st @ 11:59 PM.


Created in 1932 through an endowed bequest in honor of illustrator and muralist Edwin Austin Abbey NA, the Abbey Mural Prize awards grants to support the creation and restoration of public murals in the United States. Since 1940, the National Academy of Design has awarded funds to hundreds of individuals or organizations who are building on a tradition of public murals as instruments of social activism, neighborhood revitalization, and community engagement. The 2025 Abbey Mural Prize application is now open and the deadline to apply is Friday, May 2, 2025 11:59 PM.


The 2025 Arts Alive Grant Program, funded by the New York State Legislature and administered by ArtsWestchester, is now open. This grant is all about supporting vibrant and meaningful arts projects across Westchester and Rockland counties, celebrating the creativity of our geographically, economically, and ethnically diverse communities. The 2025 Arts Alive application is now closed. Recipients will be announced in April 2025.


Jazz artists, take your music to places it's never been. Jazz Road Tours offer grants of up to $15,000 to develop tours into communities across the country. Jazz Road Tours supports three- to six-site tours at an array of venue types, often in rural communities and other areas traditionally underserved by the genre.

This artist-centric grant program—designed to support approximately 50 tours each year—is made possible with funds from the Doris Duke Foundation with additional support from the Mellon Foundation.


LitNYS Advancement Regrants provides NYSCA Literature grantees with an opportunity to apply for up to $7,500 to support thoughtful development and expanded capacity within their organizations. Eligible organizations may request funds to improve managerial and financial stability; build solid foundations upon which to pursue their artistic vision; and improve or institute development/planning initiatives. Humanities New York (HNY) Recurring Grants offers QUICK, VISION, and ACTION GRANTS to New York organizations, municipalities, and tribal governments on a monthly or semi-annual basis. The mission of Humanities New York is to strengthen civil society and the bonds of community, using the humanities to foster engaged inquiry and dialogue around social and cultural concerns. The National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) supports the nation’s arts sector with grant opportunities to help everyone live more artful lives.
