Joyce Kanyuk
My goal as an artist is to capture on paper or canvas, the beauty and serenity of a landscape, or a flower, or a figure, and to share this harmony with all who view my paintings. I love the luminosity of color I can achieve with watercolor and the painterly quality I can achieve with golden fluid acrylics. A graduate of Syracuse University with a BFA, and a MA in art education from the College of New Rochelle, I taught art in the Clarkstown School District for 32 years. My paintings are in many private collections all over the world, and have exhibited in juried shows in the tristate area. I am a signature member of Audubon Artists and the Northeast Watercolor Society.
